This qualification is designed to be an introduction to the principles of Risk Assessment. It covers why risk assessments are necessary, the legal requirements relating to risk assessments and simple processes for carrying out a risk assessment.

Course Description

The Level 2 Award in Risk Assessment (QCF) course will be taken over 2 half day sessions; which will start at 10am till 2pm.

An exam will be included in this time period.

Refreshments will be provided.

Assessment type

Evidence of learning through a multiple-choice question examination, which will last for 30 minutes.

Who this course is aimed at

This course is suitable for learners working in any environment who need to be more risk aware by rising their knowledge of risk in the workplace and basic things they can do to control it.
Learners must be aged 14+
